At GGE we believe in a holistic approach to the equestrian sport, in which the physical, emotional and mental well being of our horses come first. With over 40-years of collective experience and cross-training technique, we offer a greater sense of awareness and appreciation for each horse’s individual needs, ability and well-being. Our goal is to help foster a deep partnership between an educated, balanced rider and a healthy 'whole horse'.
We are fortunate enough to work with horses and riders of all ages and levels. Our GGE clientele includes highly competitive riders, beginners and established equestrians simply looking to enjoy the sport at home. Our horses span an equally wide range, including: ponies, young and green horses, those undergoing rehabilitation, trail blazers and experienced competition horses. At GGE, we focus on community. Our clients support one another in and out of the arena, creating a uniquely supportive environment to help build both horse and rider confidence to overcome any training barrier.
GGE training programs are customized to accommodate each horse and client's individual needs, goals and schedule. We happily accommodate clients who own their own horse, are in the market for a new partner or for those interested in lease options.
Training, care & board
We consider 'training' to be any combination of lessons and professional schooling ride's for your horse. Our GGE 'whole horse' philosophy requires a high standard for our horses care. As such, we require all horses in our training program also enroll in full care. All prices quoted as monthly, per horse.
Full training (5 days per week) - $900
Private lesson- $140
Lesson package's are available and are 11 lessons for the price of 10.
Full care - $300 Includes: daily grooming or bathing of your horse, tack up service for all rides and lessons, after riding care (i.e. ice, extra walking, leg wraps), year-round blanketing, care of tack and other special arrangements as requested
Board - $1050-$1300 depending on the type of stall
Shows
Please note onsite stabling, entry / class and other show-related fees are all handled independently through each venue. GGE-specific pricing is quoted below per horse.
Onsite schooling or coaching - $85 per day
Grooming - $80per day + tip
Braiding - $35 per mane, $45 per tail (subject to change depending on braider, we typically suggest re-braiding every other day)
Hauling (round trip, subject to change depending on exact destination)
Within Marin / Sonoma areas - $250
Sacramento / East Bay / Peninsula areas - $500
Santa Cruz - $600
Del Mar - $1200
