Heather Pollard

Heather brings more than 20 years experience as a professional rider to her training.  Her diverse background ranges from endurance, hunter/jumper, saddle seat, rehabilitation and dressage. Heather Pollard has developed the skill and flexibility to work with horses and riders of many disciplines to build confidence and overcome training barriers.  Her  whole horse approach allows her to excel at rehabilitating horses and riders from injuries as well as unbalanced training.  Heather emphasizes the importance of the foundation of correct riding to better balance and positively influence the horse.

Heather has gained a reputation as a skilled rider and effective trainer by achieving repeated success with horses of all ages, breeds and disciplines including stallions, young and green horses, upper level dressage and hunter / jumpers.  

 

 

Andres monroy

Andres began riding at the age of 4 in Bogota, Colombia, where he grew up competing both nationally and internationally.  He earned a BS in Equine Industry Management at the University of Minnesota where he gained experience working with young horses and starting them under saddle.

Margaret Manion, Equine Sports Massage

Margaret received her Equine Massage training at the Jack Meager Institute of Sports Therapy in Massachusetts and has been considered a top practitioner in Norther California for 15 years.  Margaret's sessions relieve muscular tension, enhancing muscle tone and increasing circulation and range of motion in our horses.  The result is fewer injuries, better performance and a healthier horse. 

 

Sam Durham, Durham Farrier Service, CJF, DWCF

Sam brings over 21-years of farrier experience to his clients.  His passion for horses however, began before he could walk, growing up on the back of a horse at a training facility.  He trained and competed in dressage, eventing and multiple Western disciplines.  This background lends a valuable and unique perspective to his career. 

Sam spent several years training with seven-time World Champion and 5th generations farrier Bob Marshall.  Sam proudly devotes much of his time to continuing education programs and competitions.  He was amongst the first ten farriers in the United States to test with the Worshipful Company of Farrier, a well-renowned, 700-year old organization based in the United Kingdom.  He also finished int he top ten farrier teams at the World Champion Horseshoeing Classic last February.  Sam is actively involved with the American Farrier Association as well.

As a devout horseman, Sam understands the importance of maintaining soundness and balance movement for our equine partners.  He enjoys working collaboratively with veterinarians and owners to achieve the optimal performance for both horse and rider.
